It’s fair time in Sonoma County. The fairgrounds in Santa Rosa are alive with food vendors, carnival rides, livestock exhibits, concerts, the famous Hall of Flowers, and of course Wine Country Horse Racing.

The fair runs from now until Aug 13th and is located at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds 1350 Bennett Valley Road Santa Rosa, CA.

Horse racing dates:
Aug 3-6
Aug 10-13
Aug 18-20 (post fair race)

Hat Day at the Sonoma County Fair

This photo was taken of Gwen and me at the track on opening day. We attended a special “Hat Day” event which included lunch, grandstand seating, and a hat competition.
